The Salesforce team at Movember, Joe Acton and Noli Alegria would like to share with you solutions to two challenges that we faced.
Firstly we had to manage complex record ownership rules for millions of accounts and contacts, assigning correct owners to all our “Mo Bro’s” and “Mo Sista’s”. We have achieved this by developing an Ownership Module within Salesforce using a combination on Flow, Invocable Methods, Batch Apex and Scheduled Apex.
This Module has enabled Movember to improve personalised marketing, define account and contact portfolios for our fundraising teams, allow rapid transfer / assignment of record owners across standard and custom objects and allows Movember to build complex nested ownership rules.
The second solution we want to share is how we use Einstein Analytics to cross check and validate data flowing from AWS S3 and Salesforce, the challenge we faced was to be more proactive in identifying any data inconsistencies between our source data in AWS S3 and Salesforce and providing our users with confidence and trust in the data quality”
